Commercial Umbrella Insurance
Commercial umbrella — also called commercial excess — provides additional coverage once the underlying policy reaches its limit. It can boost the coverage for general liability, commercial auto, and employer's liability insurance.
Example: a customer slips and falls in your retail store, and the resulting judgment exceeds your general liability limit. A commercial umbrella policy picks up where that policy leaves off.
